The director of ImforInform, Students' Union Government, Akwa Ibom State University, Ikot Akpaden, has today led a few members of the school community to pay a visit to a student of the institution who was recently attacked by hudlums.
In his statement, Comr Aniefre Akpan said "Earlier this Morning, I visited the Legacy specialist Hospital to check up on the students that was injured on Saturday evening during the ugly sagas that took place at College Road -Obio Akpa were some of the students were innocently victimize by an unknown community member.
I was opportune to meet with One of the victim Comrade Caleb Frank, a 200L Crop Science Students who was cut deep on the palms and he loss a Lot of blood.
I will thank God for sparing all Life and sustaining them as the are all responding to Treatments, and at this particular period am sorry for the pains you're all bearing.
Already, we will employ all our efforts to ensure that the Damages will be paid and Peace be restored back to the Community
My Advise to all the Students Domiciling around the Community to stay on an alert and endeavour to be safe.
